Welcome to Studio Mondriaan. These terms and conditions govern your relationship, purchases, and custom design inquiries with Studio Mondriaan. By accessing our services or commissioning furniture pieces from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following conditions.

1. Custom Commissions and Craftsmanship

Every piece created by Studio Mondriaan is handcrafted individually to order. Due to the natural materials used (solid oak, beech, ash) and the artisanal hand-lacquering processes, minor variations in wood grains or color shades are to be expected. These characteristics are considered elements of unique artistic value and not structural defects.

2. Pricing, Payments, and Ordering

All prices displayed are in Euros (€) and are inclusive of standard Dutch VAT (btw), unless specified otherwise. We reserve the right to modify prices for custom configurations. Production of bespoke items begins only after a partial or full payment is settled as agreed in the individual quotation.

3. Delivery and Shipping (NL Market)

We deliver custom furniture pieces throughout the Netherlands and Europe. Standard shipping times vary depending on the complexity of the design grid and wood curing. Delivery dates provided are estimates. Studio Mondriaan cannot be held liable for transport delays outside our direct control.

4. Right of Withdrawal

For standard collections purchased online, Dutch consumer protection laws grant a 14-day return period. However, please note that this right of withdrawal **does not apply** to custom-made, bespoke, or personalized commissions designed specifically according to client specifications, as allowed under EU consumer directives.

5. Intellectual Property

All design assets, compositions, logo trademarks, graphics, and architectural grids displayed on our platforms are the intellectual property of Studio Mondriaan. Unauthorized reproduction of our furniture designs, marketing materials, or visual compositions is strictly prohibited.

6. Jurisdiction and Settlement of Disputes

These terms and conditions shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Netherlands. Any legal claims, disputes, or proceedings arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Amsterdam (Rechtbank Amsterdam), Netherlands.
